University Foundation Programmes are designed for students whose school leaving qualifications, possibly from another country, will not allow them to progress directly onto a British university undergraduate degree programme. For example, if you have only completed 12 years of school education, it is likely that you will need to complete a University Foundation Programme before you can apply to university.
These programme start in January to both UK and international students and is an intensive six month course. There is also a September start but this is currently only open to UK students.
All our University Foundation Programmes are
“It’s not only about the knowledge to get me into university, it also gives me the study skills, for example, how to write essays, reports, how to do a discussion and how to do a presentation. I think it is really important when I go to university.”
