Universities often report that ability in English and Maths supports success in other subjects. Because our aim is to give students the best preparation for their chosen career, English and Maths will be essential elements of every programme at CRC.
Full-time students will develop English and maths skills through personalised learning plans. If learners have not yet achieved a GCSE Grade A* to C or 9 to 4 in English and/or Maths, they will study for a recognised qualification appropriate to their level. If they have already achieved A* to C or 9 to 4, then they will continue to develop English and Maths skills through their chosen specialist subject.
If English is your second or a foreign language to you and you would like to improve your English to progress onto further study or work, you can join our ESOL 16-18 Study Programme. If you have finished school and are 16-18, this programme will help you improve your level of English in order to progress.
Our students have progressed onto many programmes from sports studies, construction, IT to A-Levels.
