We have specialist learning support staff who will work with you to develop your independent learning skills and to ensure that you acquire the knowledge and skills to approach your studies and learning.

SEND Support

The SEND Support Team covers a wide range of specialist areas. Our purpose is to ensure that all students achieve their potential and enjoy their studies. We aim to support all learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and work with full and part-time students of all ages, from Pre-Entry to higher education courses.

We can offer support in the following areas:

  • D/deaf support
  • Visual impairment
  • Physical access support
  • Personal and emotional health issues
  • Specific learning difficulties such as Dyslexia/Dyspraxia/Dyscalculia
  • Study tuition
  • Bi-lingual workshops
  • Mature student support
  • On-programme support
  • Drop-in Centre
