Study Programmes Explained

Studying with us means much more than just gaining a qualification in a chosen subject area.

Our study programmes are designed to provide students with the vocational skills that are essential for employment, personal and professional development.

<strong><strong>Work Experience or Industry Placement</strong></strong>
Work Experience or Industry Placement

All study programmes will involve some work experience to help build practical knowledge and employability skills. Some courses will be part of the new industry placement initiative and students will be required to undertake 315 hours experience in the workplace.

<strong><strong>Professional Development Plan</strong></strong>

Each student has a personal Tutor who will work with them on a on-to-one basis to create a personal plan and monitor the student’s progress, keeping them on track.

<strong><strong>English and Maths</strong></strong>
English and Maths

English and Maths skills are highly regarded by employers and at CRC students will continue to develop skills in both subjects. If GCSE grade 9-4 (or A*-C) in English and/or Maths has not been achieved at school, students will study for this alongside their chosen course.

<strong><strong>Enrichment</strong></strong>
Enrichment

To support your personal development, interest and hobbies we encourage students to take part in activities outside of their main vocational area, such as clubs and societies.
