Our study programmes are designed to provide students with the vocational skills that are essential for employment, personal and professional development.
We will work with our students to develop their confidence and personable skills to help them grow as an individual.
Choosing to study a vocational course lays a great foundation for learners to specialise in their chosen subject/career path.
All study programmes will involve some work experience to help build practical knowledge and employability skills. Some courses will be part of the new industry placement initiative and students will be required to undertake 315 hours experience in the workplace.
Each student has a personal Tutor who will work with them on a on-to-one basis to create a personal plan and monitor the student’s progress, keeping them on track.
English and Maths skills are highly regarded by employers and at CRC students will continue to develop skills in both subjects. If GCSE grade 9-4 (or A*-C) in English and/or Maths has not been achieved at school, students will study for this alongside their chosen course.
To support your personal development, interest and hobbies we encourage students to take part in activities outside of their main vocational area, such as clubs and societies.
