At CRC you can get the edge, whether that’s in this competitive job market, gaining a place at university or finding the perfect apprenticeship. You might not know yet what you want to do, many don’t, but through college you can explore your options and with out suite of tools and advisors on hand, to help you every step of the way, you can find your path to the perfect career.

Throughout the year we work with you to develop your potential. Events included in the programme are employer talks, higher education fairs and enterprise contests.

Employable Skills

All our programmes focus on getting you work-ready, in your approach, mind-set and skills base to meet the exportations of employers. From developing your confidence, communication and time management skills to experience with employers, you’ll improve your employment prospects at CRC.

Work Experience & Industry Placements

We work with over 1,500 employers across the region to train and develop their people, and many offer work experience and industry placements to you. Those on vocational study programmes will have work experience as part of their course, and for some this will be a full industry placement where during term time, you will spend two days a week on placement.

This put you steps ahead when applying for roles as you will be able to reference real-world job experience and gain the valuable skills employers are looking for.

Apprenticeship Talent Bank

Apprenticeships are a fantastic way to get qualified as well as gaining those valuable skills necessary to stand to to employers. Apprenticeships start at level 2 and go up to degree level, you can achieve all of this without the expense of university, whilst also earning a wage while you learn.

Our Apprenticeship team are on hand to help you find the right apprenticeship for you, and support you throughout the application process.
