“Studying pottery at CRC has been an amazing journey. Over the past three years, I’ve developed a wide range of skills, from working with different clays and glazes to understanding firing techniques, and I’ve even been able to sell some of my pieces. As an illustrator, I enjoy bringing my drawings to life through pottery, which has really expanded my creativity. I’ve also completed silversmithing and printmaking courses at CRC, and the excellent facilities and supportive environment keep me coming back to learn new skills.”

Since starting, I’ve developed valuable skills such as patience, confidence, and working with people of different ages and backgrounds. My long-term ambition is to run my own business, whether that’s a garage or another venture, and this course is helping me take the next step towards those goals.”

Mandy, Pottery

“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my time studying ceramics at CRC. As a painter, I was looking for a course that would help me develop new creative skills, and the teaching has been fantastic. I’ve learned a great deal about pottery, particularly throwing on the wheel, which is much more challenging than it looks, but incredibly rewarding. The course gives you the freedom to develop your own style while learning new techniques, and the excellent facilities and supportive environment make it a real joy to be part of.”
