CRC School of Art & Design is a vibrant, studio-based art school environment for students who want to think critically, make ambitiously, experiment freely and test ideas through creative risk-taking.
Our courses span Fine Art, Illustration, Photography & Graphic Design, and Fashion & Textiles, from UAL Level 1 through to Foundation, offering students the freedom to explore materials, processes and concepts while developing a strong, individual creative voice. Teaching is delivered by practising artists, designers and specialist makers, bringing current industry knowledge, professional insight and real-world experience into the studio.
Students work across dedicated studios using both traditional and contemporary practices — from drawing, painting and printmaking to photography, digital design, ceramics, 3D and 4D practices, textiles and mixed media. The emphasis is on process, experimentation, independent thinking and creative resilience, building the confidence to develop ambitious ideas and preparing students for the creative industries.
We are proud to support our students to progress to leading universities, specialist art schools and creative careers, with many continuing to study Fine Art, Illustration, Photography, Graphic Design, Fashion and related disciplines at degree level.
