CSCS Testing

The Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) Cards are required for people working on construction sites in the UK to provide proof that they have the skills and training required to carry out their jobs safely. In order to acquire this card, individuals must hold a Health & Safely qualification that is accepted by CITB and successfully pass a Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) Test, both of which are provided at our Huntingdon Campus on a regular basis.

Health, Safety and Environment Test (CSCS Test)

Duration: 45 minutes. Cost: £35 (£23.50 CITB charge + £11.50 admin fee)

What’s Included?

We provide the CITB Health, Safety and Environment Test. We do not provide revision materials.
We can claim your CSCS card on your behalf at an additional charge of £40 (£36 CITB charge for card + £4 admin fee)

Requirements

The CSCS Test consists of 50 questions to complete within 45 minutes. All questions are multiple choice questions, therefore some may have multiple answers. To successfully gain your CSCS card you will need to score 45 or above.

To claim your CSCS card you will need to have the correct prerequisite qualifications and will need to provide appropriate evidence of these. Failure to provide the appropriate evidence will result in delays to your application being approved.

Book a CSCS Test

Please complete the application form below to register your interest in booking a CSCS Test. Upon completion, a member of our team will be in touch to organise the date and time of your test. You must pay for the test in advance of booking. Details of how to do so are below, under Payment Information.

Payment Information

The CSCS test costs £35, and the card costs £36.
£35 is payable to CRC and £36 is payable to CITB when you register and claim the card.

To pay for your CSCS test please follow the instructions below:
               – Call the CRC finance department on 01223 428830.
               – State your name and that you are wanting to pay for a CSCS test.

Your test will be booked after confirmation of payment. You will be notified of the booking via email and text message.

Please note that all bookings must be entered onto the system no less than 48 hours in advance of the actual test date. We book tests from Tuesday to Friday, between 9:00 and 15:00.
