Support for Children in Care and Care Leavers
CRC welcomes applications from children in care and care leavers, including asylum seekers and understands that some young people need a second chance in education. We are signatories to the Care Leavers Covenant and are a College of Sanctuary.

What you can expect from us
- The opportunity to attend bespoke look round visits and pre-taster sessions, in addition to taster days, so that you feel ready for college.
- A named contact for you, your carers/key workers and social care.
- Financial support via the 16-19 Vulnerable bursary or the 19-22 extended vulnerable bursary.
- For those aged 16-18 termly PEP meetings that focus on you and how your course in going.
- Access to the right support for you including wellbeing, pastoral support or a personal development coaching.
- Priority access to careers guidance and support from the World of Work Team if you need to find a work placement.
- Information about opportunities that are specifically for care experienced young people.
