Why did you choose an apprenticeship?

I chose an apprenticeship because it allowed me to gain real, hands-on experience while studying at the same time. Learning in a live working environment helped me understand how marketing works in practice,  and meant I could immediately apply what I was learning to real projects and campaigns.

Overall, how have you found your apprenticeship experience?

Overall, my apprenticeship experience has been extremely positive. It’s helped me build confidence, develop practical marketing skills, and gain a much clearer understanding of the industry.

 doing an apprenticeship?

What would you say are the greatest benefits of doing an apprenticeship?

You get to apply what you learn on your course to your day-to-day role, which helps you succeed in your job. Apprenticeships also allow you to gain a qualification and experience at the same time.

What achievement are you most proud of during your apprenticeship?

I’m most proud of being nominated as a BCS Digital Marketing Apprentice of the Year 2025 and being named a Finalist and winning Business Disciplines Apprentice of the Year at CRC Apprenticeship Awards 2025. These achievements recognised the hard work I put into my role alongside my studies and gave me confidence in my abilities as a marketer.

What has studying an apprenticeship meant for you, your confidence and your career so far?

Studying an apprenticeship has allowed me to grow my confidence by giving me the knowledge to join in on important company discussions and voice my ideas and opinions. It has also given me an open-minded attitude towards marketing ideas and objectives.

Would you recommend this apprenticeship to others? Why?

Yes, I would absolutely recommend this apprenticeship to others. The Multichannel Marketer Level 3 course provides a great balance of learning and practical experience, allowing you to develop real skills, build confidence, and grow professionally while earning and working in the industry.

What advice would you give to someone starting this apprenticeship?

My advice would be to stay organised, be proactive, and make the most of every opportunity. Ask questions, get involved in as many projects as possible, and don’t be afraid to challenge yourself. Managing your time well is key, but the experience and skills you gain are well worth the effort.
