A former CRC student and current British Airways cabin crew member paid a visit to the Cambridge campus to talk to Travel and Tourism students about working in the industry and the changes that have been experienced in recent times.
Following the group question and answer, the learners underwent a uniform inspection where they received hints and tips on presenting themselves professionally as cabin crew members.
Following on from their uniform inspection, the students made their way to the mock cabin for a peer assessment of their cabin safety checks. In turn, the learners took to the intercom to announce the safety procedures while a colleague demonstrated the instructions in action, just as would happen on an actual flight.
The students had prepared their own safety briefings and were assessed on the delivery and content of their safety briefings.
