Wanting to develop in her role, Mandy Dunn commenced an apprenticeship with her employer, ASL and attended Cambridge Regional College to complete a Level 5 Management and Leadership Diploma. Several years later, Mandy returned to CRC to undertake the Level 5 CIPD qualification to further support her continued professional development.
Mandy said, “I wanted to gain skills and qualifications that would enable me to advance in my career. Since completing my qualifications, I have worked my way up to Head of HR, a role that sees me managing human resources and administration across the business. I am also a member of the Senior Management Team.”
Mandy chose to study with CRC as it was well situated for her to continue working in her full-time role while learning in a face-to-face environment rather than online.
Mandy added, “The course materials and support from my tutor were excellent. I was able to apply new knowledge and skills to my role immediately and this has supported me in advancing to a senior level within the company. As a manager, I now actively encourage my staff to take up apprenticeship opportunities for their own personal development.”
“I would recommend working towards an apprenticeship with CRC as it challenges you in the workplace, while providing the support and resources needed to gain professional qualifications. If you are fortunate enough to work for a company that supports employees to develop through apprenticeships, CRC is a great provider.”
