A fun-filled open day for families this month at Cambridge Regional College Huntingdon Campus – not to be missed!

Cambridge Regional College’s Huntingdon Campus will be hosting a Family Fun Day and Open Day on Saturday 10th June 10:30am – 1:00pm, for whole families to enjoy a range of activities, and it costs nothing to enter, and all funds raised will be in support of the Magpas Air Ambulance team.

The occasion welcomes all adults, teenagers and children and is a chance to get involved in one of the many exciting events happening around the college. If you like a kickabout, then head to the penalty shootout area. Or maybe you’re a creative bod and nail art and temporary tattoos are for you. Perhaps you like testing your general knowledge, then why not take part in a quiz that will really get you thinking? Or do you like all things small and furry? Then head to the pets’ corner to meet some animal friends. These are only a few of the activities taking place. There is something for everyone!

The fun day extends to furry family members too with the return of the Dog Show, hosted by Carrie Bates Dog Training, which welcomes all dogs to take part in a series of fun competitions, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Categories include:

· Best Dog Handler (under 15 years)

· Dog with the Waggiest Tail

· Golden Oldie (Over 8 Years)

· Best Trick

If your furry four-legged friends wish to take part, you can register them from 10:30am on the day using the link in our bio for a chance to win some tasty treats!

The day also provides the ideal opportunity for those looking to study, whether that is continuing their studies after school or adults returning to learning or looking to upskill, to explore the courses the college has to offer. There will be college representatives on hand to discuss the range of 16 years plus vocational courses, information on the college’s Apprenticeship programmes and there is a chance to browse the adult education options and take part in subject specific interactive activities. All inquisitive guests are encouraged to speak to the Student Support teams who can advise and guide individuals on their educational choices and, if they wish, apply for a course with our Admissions team.

Do not miss the family fun! For more information on the event, to book your free tickets or for details to come along, please see here – Family Fun Day at Cambridge Regional College, Huntingdon.
