RTITB Forklift Truck Training 

Cambridge Regional College is an accredited RTITB Forklift Truck training provider. We offer a range of training courses from our Huntingdon Campus, on Counterbalance and Reach Trucks as can be found below. 

Novice Operator Course 

Duration          3-5 days* 

Cost                  £600 

This course is intended for those who have little or no experience and will provide the knowledge and skills to operate the truck safely and efficiently. 

Experience Operator Course 

Duration          2-3 days* 

Cost                  £400 

For employees who have previous experience with forklift truck operation and wish to become a nationally recognised and qualified operator. 

Refresher Course 

Duration          1 day* 

Cost                  £175 

A course for operators who have received formal training, testing and certification previously, but now require a refresher and new certification. 

Conversion Course 

Duration          1-2 days*

Available to operators who have had formal training, testing and certification on a particular truck, but would now like to be qualified in using a different type of truck 

E-truck blended course 

In order to offer more flexible solutions for your staff training, we now offer the e-truck online learning course as part of all forklift professional training. 

eTruck is an award-winning digital storytelling system which provides a new way to cover the theory content for materials handling equipment operator training. With eTruck UK, candidates will learn by following a story that tackles real issues relating to safety. The digital storytelling platform allows more complex themes – such as driver behaviour. eTruck UK is a totally online system, enabling candidates to complete the theory training on a computer or tablet, in the workplace or at home, before attending practical training and taking their final assessments. For a novice, this reduces the time taken to complete counterbalance lift truck operator training from 5 days to 3 days.
