Indoor Cricket

As a college, we’re new to Indoor Cricket, but we’re very enthusiastic and recently hosted the Cambridge Indoor Cricket Cup.  We entered a team of CRC students who had only just learned to play the game and they really held their own – coming 3rd and winning an ECB T-shirt each.

Indoor cricket has different rules to traditional cricket and is played with a softer ball so it doesn’t hurt to catch and you don’t need loads of padding to play. Runs are scored in the conventional way, and also by hitting the walls. Everyone has the chance to bowl and it’s a great sport for mixed teams.

We are planning a friendly match against Peterborough College this term – please come and join us!
