Our On-location Traineeship programmes are currently suspended. We are currently offering online courses for those looking to progress onto employment.
Traineeships are aimed to help unemployed young people aged between 16-24 to develop the skills they need to find, stay and progress into work, education and/ or an apprenticeship.
Who is the course for?
The Traineeship programme is broken down into two elements; 4 weeks in the classroom gaining 2 qualifications and 5 weeks in the workplace with an employer on a work experience placement.
What’s the programme about?
The programme will support students in gaining the skills, qualities, attitudes and behaviours for the world of work. Whilst also securing functional skills in Maths and English.
Once you students have completed the Traineeship programme students are expected to progress into employment, apprenticeship or further education.
Why CRC?
CRC Traineeship will help students take their next steps. Our Training Talent Team continue to support learners until they have secured employment, further education or an apprenticeship.
We have been working with our employer partners to understand what matters to them when recruiting – what the skills and attributes they are wanting from a new employee. They told us about the 5 key areas that they think are the most important, and the types of skills new recruits would need to demonstrate. We’ve had a good listen to what they’ve had to say and have built the following employability certifications into our Traineeship course:
