About the Course

This introductory qualification is suitable for all new teachers and those considering teaching as a career. It is also suitable for those who wish to share their hobby with like-minded people through delivering evening classes. Finally, it is an ideal course for those who just want to build some confidence in order to deliver presentations and training to colleagues in the work place.
The course is based on 3 units;
Teaching, learning and assessment strategies- how to plan and deliver an engaging interactive session.
Inclusive Teaching and Learning- how to include everyone through meeting the needs of the individual
Understanding Assessment- how to assess if learning has taken place; using questioning to check learning. Please note the Monday courses are a blend of live online and classroom based sessions. Trainees will attend college (Cambridge Campus) on their first and final two sessions while the rest of the sessions will be delivered live via Teams.
