About the Course

This qualification, accredited by EAL, covers the technical requirements for the installation of EV Points and follows the entire IET Code of Practice and BS 7671. It provides a facility for individuals working in the electrotechnical sector to develop their understanding of these installations.

Progression

This course is ideal for qualified electricians looking at diversifying into the electric vehicle charging industry.

Entry Requirements

Candidates must be at least 18 years old and conversant with the relevant wiring regulation and initial verification and commissioning.

Assessment

The qualification comprises of a single unit taught during day 1. Day 2 is made up of exam preparation followed by a 25 question on-screen multiple choice exam in the afternoon with immediate results.
