Develop your skills, refine your knowledge and become a star seamstress. Learn all you need to know in this stylish intermediate course in sewing and dress making. Build your confidence, learn new techniques and get to know all about the intricate detailing of dress making. Expand your creativity and feel rewarded from this positive experience, there is nothing more relaxing than feeling inspired and imaginative at the sewing machine.

About the Course

To take part in this course you will need to have completed the improvers course or have a good understanding of sewing.

What you will learn:

Dressmaking project
You will be working on a project of your own choice, so that you can work at your own pace.

You will be taught through a mix of individual help from the tutor and group demonstrations which include putting in a zip, pockets, collars, pleats etc.

Materials and patterns are not included in the course fee.

Prior to the course we can connect you with the tutor to discuss your proposed project so that you are ready to start your garment.

Progression

Learners may wish to progress on to other courses. Expand your creativity with courses in knitting, crochet, soap making and candle workshop.

Entry Requirements

Some knowledge of sewing is advised as this is an intermediate course. For those who want to get into dress making but lack the skill we suggest an introduction to sewing, then move on to this more advanced course.  All learners will need to bring their own sewing machine.
