The Level 3 Apprenticeship reflects the wide-ranging knowledge, skills and behaviours relevant to contemporary
human resource practice.
HR professionals in this role are typically working as part of the HR function, delivering front line support to the HR team,
managers and employees, across the employee lifecycle, or are embarking on, or aspiring to, a career in HR.
Responsibilities are likely to range from largely transactional work, using HR systems to maintain records and provide
relevant HR information, to supporting change projects or handling day to day queries, using company policy and
current employment law to provide HR advice and guidance.
As part of the apprenticeship, learners will study for the CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice*. This
qualification is timetabled to be delivered on a classroom basis, through Cambridge Regional College. On successful
completion of the Foundation Certificate in People Practice, candidates will be eligible for Foundation Membership of
the CIPD and can use the designation Foundation CIPD.

The HR Support designed to provide you with the required skills to undertake the role. Once you have completed this
programme you may have the opportunity to progress onto further development or take on additional responsibilities
with your Employer.
After completing this apprenticeship, you could progress onto:
Level 5 Apprenticeship HR Consultant / Partner
Working in HR in a support role.
English and maths GCSEs at a minimum of grade 4 (C) or equivalent.
Remember, an apprenticeship is a job so the hiring employer may have additional criteria that will have to be met alongside CRC's entry criteria.
Although Apprenticeship course fees are taken care of by the employer, our Apprenticeships do require you to be a CIPD student Member once enrolled onto the Apprenticeship.

End Point Assessment
End-Point Assessment (EPA) is made up of a number of assessment elements which an Apprentice must pass in order to successfully complete their Apprenticeship. The EPA includes:
• Consultative Project
• Professional Discussion
As with all our programmes, this Apprenticeship includes tutorial sessions and individual reviews, giving you one-to-one time with your personal assessor.
