The Energy Systems Centre at Cambridge Regional College is NICEIC Certification approved and enables candidates to become Gas Safe Registered upon completion.
Initial CCN1 assessment is for candidates who have previously been Corgi or Gas Safe registered, whose qualifications have expired by more than 1 year.
CCN1 Initial Training and Assessment is not suitable for new entrants to the gas industry.

You will need to have previously been Corgi or Gas Safe registered to apply for the CCN1 Initial training and assessment.
Initial appliance training and assessment will only be offered to candidates who have previously held the qualifications or candidates who have been Gas Safe registered for at least 6 months and are now able to extend their range (Initial Appliances) which can be discussed on application.
New entrants to the gas industry will be required to undertake a managed learning programme or an apprenticeship in gas engineering. At the present time we only offer the apprenticeship and not the managed learning programme.
