This course is specifically written for child care settings to comply with the early years Foundation stage statuary framework.
Progression
Useful for those applying for Millie's Mark accreditation. Millie's Mark is named after Millie Thompson, who died after choking on food at nursery in 2012 when she was just nine months old. But we also believe that every parent should have knowledge of First Aid. Your certificate will be valid for 3 years.
Entry Requirements
There are no formal qualification necessary for this course; just a strong willingness to protect the wellbeing of children in Schools
Assessment
No formal written test for this course – just a relaxed and friendly ongoing supported assessment throughout the day by our friendly and approachable Instructor; breaks when you need them and you can even keep your phone on so you can be easily reached should the need arise, there will be time to compare experiences within the group to aid understanding and boost confidence.
