This two-day accredited course has been designed to raise awareness of the issues surrounding mental health difficulties, dispel some of the myths and misconceptions frequently linked to mental health issues and develop learners’ knowledge of the rights of those with mental health issues.
This qualification is appropriate for a wide range of people with an interest in raising their own understanding of mental health issues. It would complement study in a range of areas e.g. citizenship, healthcare, counselling or public services. It may also be useful for those working within the voluntary and community sector and to support interaction with the general public on a day to day basis.
On completion you will be awarded the CACHE NCFE Level 1 in Mental Health Awareness.
