The AAT L1 Access Award in Bookkeeping is a short employability course designed to introduce learners to the world of finance and business.
This course is designed to give students the introductory knowledge and confidence to take on higher level AAT qualifications and to progress in their lives and careers.
The AAT Access Award in Bookkeeping offers students at Level 1 the opportunity to develop practical bookkeeping skills.


This qualification will particularly suit those students who have had minimal work experience or those who need some additional support in order to progress.
This qualification may also interest those who are self-employed or working in small businesses who wish to do their own bookkeeping

Progression

Students completing this qualification may wish to pursue careers in finance or business in either the private or public sectors.
Learners may progress to L2 Bookkeeping, or directly to employment as a trainee bookkeeper, accounts administrator, billing/payments administrator/coordinator

Entry Requirements

Students need to be working at Level 1 in English and maths and should have the ambition to progress into further study, or work.

We want you to achieve to the very best of your ability whilst studying with CRC. To make this happen we offer both learning and personal support by specialist staff tailored to meet your specific needs.
Assessment for this course is an online test, this course may be delivered face to face, distance, or hybrid, but the assessment takes place at our Huntingdon Campus.
