The Business and Administrator Level 3 Standard is for those working in an administrative role and who wish to gain a recognised qualification. This programme is aimed at individuals who work independently or as part of a team and will involve developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administrative services. As an administrator you will interact with internal or external customers, support functional areas, demonstrate strong communication skills and offer mentoring or coaching of others. The business administrator is also expected to show initiative, manage priorities and their own time, demonstrate problem-solving and decision-making skills and work with integrity whilst adopting a proactive, positive approach.
Suitable job roles include: Office Administrator, Administration Officer/Executive, Administration Team Leader, Office Supervisor, Personal Assistant, Secretary.
Apprenticeships are made up of framework of qualifications and training based on testing competency and developing practical, occupational and transferable skills.

There is no upper age limit for apprenticeships making it a course ideal for both those looking to start a career in a particular sector or those who are already employed and looking to get qualifications that recognise their experience and gives them opportunity to progress further in their career.
No learner fees. Employer fees as follows:
• 16-18 years old - fully government funded (no fees)
• 19-23 years old - fully funded for companies with less than 250 employees; employer fees apply for those with 250+ employees
• 24+ years old - partially-funded (employer fees apply)
Progression to NCFE Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Business Administration or a Management qualification or further learning.
There are no formal entry requirements but you must be in a suitable administrative role.
Remember, an apprenticeship is a job so the hiring employer may have additional criteria that will have to be met alongside CRC’s entry criteria
This programme is completely delivered in the workplace. You will be assessed in the workplace using a variety of methods including observation, questioning, professional discussions, witness testimonials and candidate work products and statements. At then end of your practical period you will go through Gateway and complete three components of End Point Assessment, which are:
1. Component 1 – Knowledge Test
Multiple-choice Knowledge Test assessing the technical content.
2. Component 2 – Portfolio-based Interview
Portfolio-based Interview around the evidence requirements that demonstrate achievement of the portfolio-based skills and behaviours.
3. Component 3 – Project Presentation
Apprentice presentation around a work-based project they have delivered to demonstrate achievement of the project-based skills and behaviours.
