Course Overview

This course is for employees who want to learn and understand about health and safety in the workplace. Working Safely will help to focus individuals on why health and safety is important and how they can make a real difference to the wellbeing of themselves and others through changing their behaviour.

Course Content includes:

1. Introduction to working safely
2. Defining hazard and risk
3. Identifying common hazards
4. Improving safety performance
5. Protecting our environment.

Progression & Career Opportunities

IOSH Working Safely is recognised by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) when applying for a CSCS card to work on a UK construction site.

Working Safely is a one-day course for people at any level, in any sector.

Delegates understanding of health and safety basics is evaluated using multi-format questions and a hazard spotting exercise.
