Learn the skills and safe practice associated with glass fusing, to create beautiful decorative pieces.
This ten-week course will introduce students to the basics of fused glass materials, processes and techniques, such as the use of stringers, frits and inlays. In our well-equipped studio, with access to a fusing kiln, you will learn to make samples and to record processes, and then go on to design and complete a variety of personal projects.
A range of basic materials will be provided however, students will need to provide their own specialist materials. This will be discussed at the first session where the tutor will be able to advise and guide you.
