Volunteering at Test Centres

Volunteers needed for our two testing sites

In line with new safety measures in higher education settings Cambridge Regional College is setting up COVID-19 testing centres at its two campuses – Cambridge and Huntingdon. We need help to successfully run the two centres for students and staff and thus are seeking volunteers to assist.  We plan to begin testing on the 18th of  January and increasing in February so flex on start date as well as hours.

There are a variety of different roles and responsibilities that need to be covered from administrative tasks, test processing and supervisory.  Further details on Covid-19 Test Centre roles can be found below:

Please be reassured that we prioritise the safety of all, including volunteers, staff and students, and as such, full training and PPE will be provided for working within the test centres, which in line with government guidelines have been set up to the highest COVID safety standards.

For those successfully selected there will be some reference checks done, including an enhanced DBS, which we would process for you.
