A-Level Results Day - Cambridge Regional College

A-Level Results Day

A-Level Results Day – Thursday 17th August 2023

We have put together a helpful guide to alternative options to study at CRC! Below you’ll find information about Access to HE Diplomas and our Higher Education courses.

Higher Education (HE)

Studying a Higher National Diploma is an alternative to going to university, but can still lead to gaining a full degree. Our specialist well-respected range of Higher Education courses are vocationally-led to prepare students for employment and sensitively time-tabled to include adults who may still need to work part-time.

How it works?
Study a Higher National Certificate (HNC), then a Higher National Diploma (HND) each course takes 1 year to complete. Then continue to a Top-Up Degree at university (entering at year 3) to finish your studies.

Why study at CRC?

  • Small class sizes, resulting in more communication on a 1-1 basis with your tutor.
  • CRC work closely with local employers to ensure that their involvement will add to your skills base and thereby enhance your future employment opportunities.
  • Combine college-based tuition with e-learning, giving you the opportunity to work while you study
  • Stay Local, and studying in central Cambridge
  • CRC have established close links with local and regional universities, which allows many of our HE students to progress to university and extend their qualifications to BA and BSc.

Our BTEC Higher National courses are highly valued by employers looking for skilled and motivated employees. We work closely with local employers to ensure that their involvement will add to your skills base and thereby enhance your future employment opportunities.
