Ambassador of the Month 17/18
OCTOBER 17 – Will Kent L3 Sport
Will demonstrated the CRC Values as an Ambassador leading the Fun-day Monday session with a group SEND learners. He was friendly, empathetic, creative, organised and professional.
He stepped outside his own comfort zone to get the group motivated and on board with the sessions which always started with an outstanding and fun warm-up.
NOVEMBER 17 – John Tobeck L3 Sport
John demonstrated the CRC Values as an Ambassador participating in the Boccia England Leaders and Officials courses. He officiated at the Lord Taverner’s U19 County Tournament and his confident and skilful management led him to be selected to officiate at the Regional Tournament in February.
He stepped in to lead the Fun-day Monday sessions with a group SEND learners when other learners were away, and helped other groups to plan appropriate activities.
DECEMBER 17 – Sophie Day and Amber Dyra – L3 Sport
Amber and Sophie demonstrated the CRC Values as they successfully applied to be This Girl Can Ambassadors for CRC. They are planning activities which will encourage more girls and women to be active, to help at the Refresher’s Fair in January and the Sports Careers Fair in February. They have already met with tutors and students to find activities which will help Hair and Beauty learners get Fit for Work!

JANUARY 18 – Teigan Keighly L2 Health & Social Care
Teigan demonstrated the CRC Values as an Ambassador when she came into College to help with the Refresher’s Fair on her day off. She was friendly, helpful, organised and professional. She helped to promote the CRC Ambassador Programme and Student Union and encouraged students to take part in the Hula Challenge.

FEBRUARY 18 – Simon Cooper– L3 Sport
Simon demonstrated the CRC Values as an Ambassador whilst officiating at the Lord Taverner’s Regional Boccia Tournament in Harlow. He was friendly, empathetic, organised and professional and was selected to represent the Region as an official in the National Finals in April. He will receive training, an additional qualification, and the opportunity to develop his officiating skills. He really impressed the competition organisers and is a True CRC Ambassador.
MARCH 18 – Demie-Jade Resztan – Personal Training
Demie-Jade demonstrated the CRC Values as an Ambassador when she gave up her free time to give an inspirational talk to learners on International Women’s Day. Demie-Jade is the winner of the 48Kg English boxing title and gave a talk about how she started boxing at a young age as she was being bullied. She is now training for the Commonwealth Games. Demie-Jade shows how you can be aspirational, courageous, resilient and excellent. A really impressive role model and a True CRC Ambassador.
