CAMBRIDGE PARABILITY FOOTBALL LEAGUE – 21st FEBRUARY 2017

On Wednesday 21st February, 2 CRC Parability Football teams from both campuses took part in the Cambridge Parability Football league on Coldham’s Common. Both teams played really well and had some exciting games, particularly the team in the Premiership (top) Division who, despite losing 3 of their games, had some tight games where the standard was very high.

Premiership Team – David Gomes, Ryan Chamberlain, Quinn Gaston, Zara Downs, Daniel Law, Callum Steward and Sam Cotton.

 Lost 0 – 3 to Cambridge City, Drew 0 – 0 with Facet, Lost 0 – 1 to C3, and lost 0 – 1 to St Ives

Championship Team – Ben Langford, Kalen Farrow, Oliver Wiliams, Rahil Akhtar, Callum Povey, Joseph Ward and Harry McNamara.

Beat Papworth Purples  4 – 0 , Drew 0 -0 against Facet, Beat Cambridge City 3-0, and Beat Papworth Yellow 7-0

Congratulations must go to Ben Langford (Capt of the Championship team) who organised the team and who scored 2 hat tricks, and to Rahil Akhtar for his spectacular dive in goal.  Both teams demonstrated outstanding skills, sportsmanship, and clean play and are excellent ambassadors for CRC.

Well done to you all and we look forward to the next round in March.   Sarah Allen and Yann Yao
