Cambridge Regional College, working in partnership with V (National Volunteering Organisation) is launching a very exciting new Volunteering Project for young people aged 16-25.

If you join the programme you will gain an outstanding work experience in Youth Work, Sexual Health Awareness, Health Promotion or in working with Young Mums, which can help you find your way to the world of work, or continue your studies on a higher level.
What is the work about?
As a Vtalentyear volunteer you will carry out approximately 30 hours of volunteering per week, over the 44 week placement at the college. You will support the students in the organisation of their own volunteering activities throughout the academic year, and organise various activities and events in the college improving your management skills.
You will improve your skills in:- Managing your own resources
- Providing leadership
- Building working relationships with colleagues and customers
- Working in a team
- Problem solving
- Ensure your own actions reduce risks to health and safety
- Encourage innovation in your team; allocate and check work
- How to apply for a job and interview skills
- Rights and responsibilities at work
