CRC College Contract Buses
We run our own contract bus service for our full-time students at both our Cambridge and Huntingdon campuses. The service picks up from different towns and villages in Cambridgeshire, Huntingdon, Essex, Hertfordshire and Suffolk. Click here to see the current Cambridge timetable. All routes are timed to arrive at the College prior to 08:45 hours and depart at 16:15 hours after lessons finish*. The bus service will operate during term time only.
*The college day is between the times of 09:00 and 16:00, however some exceptions do exist. Learners should ensure they have checked with their course tutor with regards to any additional teaching and learning commitments that fall outside of these hours.
The cost of the College Bus Pass remains at £495.00 for the 2018/19 academic year. This can be paid either in full or up to 10 instalments. (a deposit and completed Direct Debit form is required)
For those on Apprenticeship schemes only attending one day per week, the cost is £165.00 payable in full in advance.
Public Bus Services
If you are unable to use the college’s Contract Buses because you do not live near one of the college bus routes, you could be eligible for assistance with public bus transport costs. However, in order to qualify for this you need to live more than 3 miles from the college. If you live in Cambridgeshire, please contact Cambridgeshire County Council Transport Team on 0345 045 5208. The Cambridgeshire Guided Busway provides a direct route to the college from Huntingdon and St.Ives, Cambridge Railway Station and Trumpington Park & Ride. There are two Busway stops immediately next to the college: “Cambridge Regional College” and “Orchard Park East”. Click here for more information on routes and up to date travel fares.

Scholar Train Season tickets are available from the two train operating companies that provide trains to Cambridge. If you live in Cambridgeshire, you could be eligible for assistance with train costs. A new train station in North Cambridge is now open! It is a 25-minute walk from the college.
We have designated parking spaces for students. There is a student car parking charge of £2 per visit; pre-payment cards are available at a discounted price.
We actively encourage our students and staff to choose a green method of transport when travelling to college. We have plenty of cycle racks available including covered spaces.
