Stuart Clarke

Lecturer

Stuart served 14 years in the Royal Engineers reaching the rank of sergeant. During active service, he completed numerous tours around the world including Northern Ireland and Kenya. During these tours, he worked for the Joint Counter Terrorist Training and Advisory Team. Also throughout his service, Stuart represented the army at various levels in boxing, cycling, cross country and snowboarding.
Stuart teaches across all levels, specialising in uniform services. Since leaving the army, he has completed a range of qualifications including, qualified teacher status, Level 2 Gym Instructors and Level 3 Personal Training to name just a few.
Stuart’s main hobby and passion is cycling and in the last 4 years he has established a successful cycling team here at CRC. The team has completed a number of charity rides including cycling from Lands’ End to Cambridge in 27hrs non-stop and Cambridge to Paris within 72 hours. These events raised over £5000 for service charities.
