Head of Programme
Rob has been teaching at Cambridge Regional College since 2003. Progressing through the management structure he is now Head of Programme for Sport. Rob himself was a student at CRC and completed the Level 3 Diploma in Uniformed Services. He went on to gain his teaching qualifications and a host of qualifications in coaching and fitness instruction. Rob has an extensive background in sport and has represented at both County and National level across sports such as Football, Tennis and Table Tennis, this has helped him develop the academies here at CRC. Rob has a real passion for volunteering and has set up UK based opportunities for the students here at the college as well as work abroad, raising in excess of £16,000 along the way.
‘I believe that giving learners the opportunity to change other people’s lives through volunteering will help mould their own and give them the experienced needed for whatever their next steps may be within the sport industry or university. I am lucky to lead such a driven and motivated team and this inspires me to maintain our high standards each year’.
