Nat Ashby

Lecturer

Nat, a former student of Cambridge Regional College, where he studied AVCE leisure and recreation back in 2000, has been a lecturer of BTEC Sport and Uniformed services at CRC since 2007, delivering across levels 1-5. His higher academic qualifications include a BSc Sport and Exercise Science
Degree (2:1 with Hons) from the University of Northampton, and he qualified as a teacher through Cambridge University. Nat has a range of vocational qualifications and experience, such as Level 2 Gym Instructor, and Level 3 CYQ Assessor where he has worked in industry training and assessing would be fitness instructors. He also has extensive and recent coaching experience and qualifications across
a number of sports including football (Level 1 Coach) basketball (Level 2 Coach) and Level 1
American Football Coach (Anglia Ruskin University). Nat’s specialist area is delivering BTEC sport across levels 3-5, as well as coaching the men’s basketball team to 2 league trophies in 5 years and freelance tutoring/assessing level 2 gym qualifications for a private company in industry. Nat has represented Great Britain in American football and played at the highest domestic level, the British American Football Association Premiership division”
