Katie Wright

Lecturer

Katie has been lecturing at CRC since September 2005, although she had a 2 year break gaining valuable experience in Australia and New Zealand, as well as working in many areas of the industry. She has also worked at a summer camp for 2 seasons in the US, teaching children swimming, windsurfing and water skiing. After studying a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Sports Studies and gaining her Level 2 Gym Instructors qualification at CRC, she took the opportunity to get into teaching. Katie has also taught and assessed on the CYQ Level 2 Gym Instructor course for the past 4 years.

Since the age of 17 Katie has coached netball to all ages, from primary schools to currently coaching the CRC netball team and an adult team in her spare time. She is a level 1 qualified netball coach and a C award umpire and also plays Netball for Bishops Stortford, training and playing 3 times a week.
