The Uniformed Public Services are always looking for physically fit, enthusiastic and well-prepared recruits to train for a variety of careers within the services, such as the Army, Navy, Air Force, Police, Fire Brigade, Ambulance, Paramedics, Customs & Excise and Security.
Key skills of leadership, assertiveness, physical fitness and personal responsibility are very important and emphasised in all of our courses. Our students have an exciting programme of external activities, from adventure training to army assault courses to help hone their skills.

Interested in joining the Police Force? We now have a Police Academy run in collaboration with Cambridge Constabulary, providing specialist police training including Traffic, SOCO and Firearms.
In addition to your main qualification in Uniformed Public Services, you will gain other skills within the college’s ‘Passport to Success’. Wider employability skills, English, Maths & IT, personal learning skills and social and community skills are highly valued by employers and will make you a more rounded, employable professional.
