Paediatric First Aid
If you are a registered childminder, care for children or simply wish to be prepared for an emergency, then this 12-hour paediatric first aid course is for you or your business.
The Paediatric First Aid qualification will help you to:
- Understand the role of a first aider
- Manage an emergency situation
- Know how to use CPR effectively
- Deal with injuries and illnesses which could affect children whilst in your care
How you will study?
Learning to perform first aid is an interactive process that requires a combination of compassion, skill and knowledge. You will complete 12 hours of classroom sessions, delivered over two days. Each session is designed to give you both the competence and confidence to provide emergency first aid when called on to do so.
Learning Assessment and Support
Learners will need to complete a knowledge assessment at the end of the course and assessment of competency throughout the practical sessions.
