Course Overview

Ever thought about becoming Self Employed? Having an AAT qualification would help you to prepare your own basic accounting records saving money on accountant's fees. Cambridge Regional College has recently teamed up with The Finance & Management Business School to bring an exciting and fresh approach to AAT Accountancy training.

This short 4 day programme, run over 2 weeks, is suitable for those who are new to accountancy. Week 1 class times are 10 am - 4 pm and week 2 classes are mornings only from 10 am. It will give you a comprehensive introduction into the world of finance as well as helping those seeking to quickly gain a highly respected qualification to enhance their CV.

Learners will gain an understanding of:
• The "language" of accountancy - key terminology
• Mathematics for Accountants
• Professional Ethics for Accountants
• Production of Business Documentation

If you are interested in a career in Accountancy or Finance then an AAT qualification can really help you get on the ladder! Having an AAT qualification means you are joining a highly respected international professional accountancy body with over 120,000 members worldwide.

Progression & Career Opportunities

AAT Qualifications are recognised by employers as practical and technical qualifications that prepare students for the world of work and for working specifically in accountancy and finance roles.

The level 1 qualification can lead to employment as a casher or clerical assistant or enables you to get a head start of the level 2 AAT qualification.

Entry Requirements

There are no specific entry requirements for this course although basic literacy and numeracy skills will be advantageous.
