    Care, Health & Early Education

Our specialist Care, Health and Early Education programmes from Level 1 to Level 5 will give you a real and practical experience working with children and adults and lead to a wide range of careers in health, care and early education.

You will be taught and supported by experienced professionals and will receive valuable work experience with local employers, developing the skills and knowledge needed to become successful in your career.

Careers in Health and Social Care and Early Education are thriving and the Cambridgeshire area has a growing need for well-qualified staff in hospitals, care homes, day nurseries and primary schools.

Our Level 3 Health & Care students benefit from direct work experience at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, one of the country’s largest Trusts. Students on our Early Years Education courses undertake valuable work experience in nursery settings, pre-schools and primary schools throughout the year.

Past students have gone on to study for a degree in law, criminology, social work, adult and children’s nursing, teaching and occupational therapy at universities including ARU, Birmingham City and Cardiff. Apprenticeships in the health service and children’s nurseries are also a popular choice.

If you’re already working in the industry and would like to update your qualifications, we also offer part-time Health, Social Care and Early Years training courses, from Level 2 right through to Foundation Degree. You may qualify for free tuition or help with any costs. For more information, please use the course search or check out our Adult Course Guide.
