Traineeships are short programmes for 16 – 24 years old who are looking for work or to get into an Apprenticeship and are currently not in education or training.
They give young people the skills and experience employers want. Each Traineeship programme includes:
- A high-quality work experience placement
- Work preparation training – that could be CV-writing, job search, interview preparation, confidence-building and other job-related and interpersonal skills.
- Functional skills in Maths and English
