Programmes & Services Co-ordinator – Cambridge International Centre – Ref: SMT 27

£33,711 - £34,211 p.a.

A manager with strong organisational skills is required to coordinate a range of activities within our busy International Office and Cambridge International Centre. You should have excellent knowledge of commercial education and quality assurance systems and be able to ensure key tasks and specific projects are achieved within deadlines. This is a role for a highly motivated individual who enjoys multitasking and thrives on high achievements in a business environment.

Work Related Learning Programme Leader - Engineering - Ref: SMT 85

£32,800 - £35,407 p.a.  

The person appointed will be responsible for the learner’s Apprenticeship programme, designing and delivering high quality teaching, learning and assessment in their workplace and in College. The post holder will seek appropriate work placement opportunities for full time learners, engage with employers to determine the required skills and qualifications for successful progression to apprenticeships and employment and disseminate this information to the Academy Management team.

CELTA Teacher Trainer – Ref: SMT 234

£23,482 - £33,377 p.a.

We are seeking an experienced CELTA trainer to coordinate and develop our CELTA provision. The successful candidate must have the DELTA (DTEFLA) or an equivalent award; have substantial CELTA teaching experience and the ability to teach across a range of EFL/ESP levels. Proven ability to teach on our standard EFL/ESOL courses is essential.

Lecturer – Study Support (Maths) – Catering, Hair & Beauty – Ref: SMT 93

£23,482 - £33,377 p.a.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to teach and support learners in Catering, Hair and Beauty. Using your past experience within a study support/lecturer role, you will plan and deliver high quality teaching and support to both groups as well as individual learners. An understanding of the Adult Core Curriculum is essential for this role, as well as some knowledge of the programmes delivered within the Academy. You will need to be comfortable working as part of a team, and prepared to be flexible to meet the needs of the learners.

Working within the highly successful Essential Skills Team you will be responsible for teaching Functional/Key/Basic Skills to learners in College, the community and the workplace. The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of delivering first class teaching and learning to a broad range of learners.  The post requires someone who is innovative, creative and flexible with an ability to meet all administrative deadlines associated with the position.  The ability to work independently across all areas of the curriculum and geographic area serviced by the College is essential.

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced hairstylist, with extensive experience of working in a professional environment to join a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional team in the Academy of Hair and Beauty. This key technician role falls within the Academy of the Arts which includes the disciplines of music, media, performing arts and art & design. This role encompasses working within the technician team, managing the Mac suites for the Academy and managing a Mac resources budget. This is a challenging role which will demand good skills in organisation, flexibility, negotiation, resourcefulness, innovation plus excellent knowledge of the Macs both hard and software. Transport Assistant – Ref: SMT 96


£17,622 - £19,637 p.a. 

Following internal reorganisation, a vacancy has arisen for a Transport Assistant within the busy Facilities & Estates Department. You will preferably have experience in a similar role and will act as a first point of contact for all College transport matters, including twice daily check in and out of the 11 College Contract Buses. You will also be responsible for overseeing general car parking matters including car park barriers, parking issues and a vehicle fleet comprising minibuses, cars & vans, their upkeep and ensuring that Service Level Agreements are met. In addition, you will be required to patrol/monitor key locations of the Campus at specific times of the day to deal with specific student behaviour issues, so much of your day will be spent outdoors. Applicants will be PC literate and will have excellent team-working and communication skills.

Evening Reception Services Administrator – Ref: SMT 104

£16,178 - £17,293 p.a. pro rata

14 hours per week, term time only, fixed term for 1 year (maternity cover)

This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic, positive, professional person to join our busy, friendly Reception Services team.  Your role within the team will be to provide the important change over from day to evening cover in the main CRC College Reception.  Starting from 15.30pm – 19.00pm, Monday – Thursday term time only. This is an excellent role for someone who is confident to use their own initiative working on their own, as well as working within a team.

You will need to have extensive experience working in a front-of-house situation with a good standard of general education including a NVQ L2 in Customer Service or Reception/Administration and a basic knowledge of Microsoft packages. You will be able to relate and communicate to a wide range of individuals, demonstrating a professional telephone manner and interpersonal skills. You will need to be punctual, flexible, reliable, with a conscientious approach as well as being patient with a calm friendly personality. It is also necessary to be able to concentrate in a busy Reception area and have the ability to take control of any situation.
