HNC / HND Business (INTERNATIONAL)
The BTEC Higher National Diploma qualification in Business/Management is designed to give students the knowledge, understanding and skills required for success in their current and future employment or for progression to an undergraduate degree. The qualification has been developed to meet the needs of the major functions in business.
Students will study a minimum of 16 units over two years (240 credits).

Year 1 (HNC) units include:
Business Environment, Managing Financial Resoutces & Decision Making, Organisation & Behaviour, Human Resource Management, British Legal System, British Law, Aspects of Contract & Negligence for Business, Management Accounting, Marketing, Business Strategy, Business Ethics and Employability Skills
Year 2 units (HND) include:
Sales, Planning & Operations, Project Design, Implementation & Evaluation, Internet Marketing, Working with & Leading People, Business Decision Making, Research Project and Employment Relations
Assessment
A carefully selected mix of assignments, presentations,in-class tests (coursework) and examinations.
