Accommodation

Homestay

Students live with a local English-speaking family in their home, usually based within two miles of CRC’s Science Park campus at Kings Hedges.

The family provides a single room, together with breakfast and evening meal each day, plus lunch on Saturday and Sunday. A host family does not necessarily mean father, mother and children - some are retired couples or single people. When you enrol on a course you need to specify the type of accommodation you require.

You will then be sent an application form. The International Office will arrange a host family on your behalf. We also advise you to insure your personal belongings before moving into your host family accommodation. You can do this when applying for your travel insurance.

Halls of Residence

Tripos Court is an example of student accommodation conveniently located on a bus route into the city centre and within walking distance of Cambridge train station. Tripos Court consists of 300 single study ensuite bedrooms, all fully furnished with entry phone systems and telephone connections. Most kitchens are shared between six residents.
