Fully funded vocational training for the unemployed
Are you unemployed and in receipt of JSA or ESA (WRAG)?
Would you like help with your CV/covering letters/job search or interview help?
Do you require specific industry related training in Business Administration, Setting up a New Business, Customer Service, Health & Social Care, Retail, Team Leading or IT?
Do you require help with your Literacy & Numeracy or improving your English (ESOL)?
If the answer is YES to all or some of the above, then we would like to speak to you as we may be able to provide you with fully-funded training opportunities that meet your individual needs and could help you get back to work.
The Skills for Employment Team provides pre-employment training tailored to your individual needs that, in most cases, lead to nationally-recognised qualifications, and will not affect your benefits.
- A 1-2-1 Information, Advice and Guidance session to advise and look at options for learning, training and employment
- Training needs analysis and individual learner support with regular progress reviews
- The opportunity to attend group and 1-2-1 sessions in CV writing, job searching, interview techniques, mock interviews and how to complete application forms
- Vocational training (if applicable).
Duration of training
Our short courses vary in length from 1 day to an 8-week programme, dependent on each learner's needs.Location
