IT and Computer Training (EAST) Trg

The services offered

Based within Cambridge Regional College, EAST Trg delivers bespoke/tailored IT and Computing training programmes across the Eastern region both on employers’ premises and at CRC. This training can lead to nationally recognised qualifications (City & Guilds) at various levels or support a company to improve skills of employees for example when rolling out a new operating system.

What is ITQ and how can it work for you?

ITQ is a business-focused qualification that can be tailor made to meet all spheres of business needs as well as the needs of individuals. Based around all forms of technology the qualification can be applied to any working environment.

ITQ works on a points basis where learners select the units and customise the qualification to meet their needs. Each unit has a points value from which each learner must achieve 30 points for level 2 and 50 points for level 3. These can be selected over three levels depending on their individual skills and experience. In addition, company bespoke technology can be used and accredited to the qualification, therefore gaining recognition for tasks that are carried out on a regular basis: this might include Data Management, Customer Service or Production Systems.

Assessors/trainers will come to your business location on a weekly/fortnightly basis and deliver personalised training with learners on a one-to-one basis or in small groups based around their/company requirements.
