If you would like to be an apprentice but don't have a job, we may be able to help. We have excellent contacts with a large network of local employers and we also recruit and train our own apprentices in a wide range of jobs here at CRC.

The role will be part of a wider team providing insolvency services to clients.

Key Functions

The main responsibilities of the role:

This position is a great opportunity for an Apprentice IT Technician to gain experience working in the school's ICT Services department supporting staff & students. In addition to support duties, there will be the chance to be involved with a number of exciting projects including network redesign & virtualisation.
Previous experience of IT Support is advantageous but not necessary as full training will be given. Practical ability, enthusiasm & a willingness to learn are essential.

General duties include:
- Provide 1st line support & assist with general enquiries from teachers, staff & students.
- Assist with the installation & updating of computer equipment & software.

The position will be working within the small friendly call centre making a team of 8 operators and the Job Purpose is to answer incoming calls from client in a bright & bubbly manner and ALWAYS with a Smile, whilst maintaining a high level of customer service on every call.

Duties include:

In addition to improving and refining our CMS we also need to support existing clients, so there is a requirement for both initiative in moving the CMS functionality forward and troubleshooting/buy fixing skills.
Design ability is not necessary, though if an applicant has this capability, in addition to PHP/MySQL experience, they would have the opportunity to use their design skills from time to time.
Day to day duties would be overseen by our on site developer and would involve mySQL database and PHP scripting as required. You would be working with a small team in and addition to these core duties would be expected to 'muck in' as required to meet any project deadlines - this could include answering the phone and cross - checking work, testing website functionality, market research etc.

We are a small, young & friendly office. The role would consist of various projects & tasks including upkeep of a database and paper files, data input, resourcing for new candidates, completing vetting checks for teachers, assisting the branch manager with word processing of documents etc. The role will also involve customer care/relations. Headline Teachers will commit to supporting and assisting the right candidate to grow and develop themselves into an effective administrator.

The role will include:

Working within the support department, the role will include the following tasks, some of which will be after progression within the role and dependant on ability. There is potential at the end of the Apprenticeship period for the individual to become a fully fledged member of the IT & Support Team.

The role requires a sharp focus on being able to clearly articulate products and service to the target audience.
An ability to identify current market trends in products and topical local events and service across the UK. The role will form the key front-end team to help growing this dynamic business. The new online presence is going live in November 2011 and is supported by investment to build the business profile.
Working with the Directors the role will be required to update existing online content based on research undertaken to ensure that the sections allocated to the role are kept up to date and relevant. This will require research, predominantly online, in the various categories for the UK market.
Also participation may be required in keeping the social media side of the business updated as well as contributions in online forums.
In addition to direct editorial contribution a keen mind that can track and identify emerging trends is critical. The role will allow for significant autonomy and creativity in developing the core site.

Apprentice Recruitment Consultant's will be expected to be involved in all areas of the recruitment life-cycle, including:

Resourcing

  • Advertising vacancies appropriately by drafting and placing adverts in a wide range of media and on a wide range of websites and job boards;
  • Using both the company database and external databases to search for suitable candidates;
  • Use other resourcing techniques including targeted search (head-hunting), networking, referrals, etc to source suitable candidates.

Recruitment

  • Reviewing, contacting and selecting suitable candidates for client roles;
  • Discussing role requirements with candidates and briefing them fully on the responsibilities, salary and benefits on offer;
  • Validating candidate applications and checking their suitability for a given role;

Our apprentice will work with our marketing director to attract new clients. We do this through direct and digital marketing, as well as PR and networking. The apprentice will also be involved with the administration of Prospect Research, and we will expect them to create and maintain efficient systems to help the company to run smoothly.


Our apprentice will be involved with following marketing tasks:

This is a general administration role that will consist of some time spend manning both the main school reception and then Sports Centre reception (full training and support given) as well as carrying out administration tasks to support the work of our college.
