Prince’s Trust Team members celebrate their graduation
Prince’s Trust team members marked the end of a 12-week action-packed course at Cambridge Regional College with a graduation evening for friends and family.
Principal Mark Robertson was among the guests as the members of Team 42 received their certificates marking the completion of the programme.
During the course, the students went on a residential trip, raised money for a community challenge project – and then carried out the work – and had the chance to do valuable work experience.
The programme, aimed at young people not in work or education, also gave them practical advice on CV writing and helped them develop their interview skills.
The students put together a presentation on their 12 weeks with the Prince’s Trust for their graduation evening – winning high praise from guests.
Amy Hopkins-Hayes, The Prince’s Trust Team programme executive, said it had been a “unique and inspiring presentation”.
“The young people on Team are a credit to CRC and The Prince’s Trust. Well done all involved,” she said.
Cambridge Regional College runs three Prince’s Trust Team programmes a year, in Cambridge, Huntingdon and Wisbech. To find out more about the next programmes, starting on 22 January, click here.
